Gallia County native Rich Thomas, Temple Tattoo founder, is a seasoned tattooer and dedicated small business owner.⁣⁣

Throughout his early years, Rich was always drawn to the art of tattooing. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
While living in Milwaukee, Rich struck up a friendship turned mentorship with Bill “Cuz’n Bill” Lorenz who became his first teacher. Following his time with Lorenz, Rich served his apprenticeship under the guidance of Scott Friedrich, Absolute Tattooing. Rich credits these two men for giving him his livelihood, and is also thankful to Mike Bakaty and Sailor Jerry Swallow for their positive influences.⁣⁣

Artistically, Rich considers himself a craftsman with a focus on classic traditional imagery that stands the test of time.⁣⁣
